What is Technology DEMO Theater?
This Technology Demo Theater is designed for all TechAdvantage Conference and Annual Meeting attendees to experience the “unveiled” innovation of any new products and services that can be introduced to the electric cooperatives around the country.
What are the Products and Services to DEMO?
Your product demo should identifying as innovations that are most likely to change the markets you serve and/or change the way we use technology overall. This DEMO will take your product from concept to customer!
How Does it Work?
Each company is given just 5 minutes on this DEMO screen in the theater to truly introduce and demonstrate how your product will change the electric cooperative industry. No PowerPoint—No flashy corporate presentation—Just a 3-5 minutes video of your product and how it works. Your video should include a short introduction then showcase your product.
How is the Demo Theater Set-Up?
A section will be designated to this theater in the back of the TechAdvantage expo hall. There will be a large screen and lounge chairs set in this area. Concession stand will be available for free movie theater snacks and refreshments. The atmosphere will likely be a theater style where attendees will be able to sit, relax and enjoy the demo.
When will the Demo Take Place?
There will be two sessions each day during the expo schedule between Tuesday, March 6 to Thursday, March 8. A final schedule will be provided to you a few weeks prior to TechAdvantage.
DEMO Format?
Each demo session is about 45 minutes long. Within the 45 minutes, there will be four demos (4 vendors) per session. Your video will be about 5 minutes in length. Your video will also be showcased in (2) different sessions. This means that we will repeat your video twice during the 3-day expo hours. The demo schedule will be published and sent to you prior to leaving to San Diego.
Network Opportunities
A representative from your company can be available at this theater to answer any questions after the demo show.
