Earn While You Learn TechAdvantage Conference offers attendees the opportunity to earn continuing education credits that can be applied toward recertification of their professional credentials. TechAdvantage offers continuing education credits for engineering, IT and supply management professionals. (Forms for tracking your sessions will be available on-site)
Engineers
Many state licensing boards require that PEs maintain and improve their skills through continuing education courses and other opportunities for professional development. TechAdvantage Pre Conference and Conference participants may earn over 20 professional development hours toward your PE credential. Each 60-minutes earns 1.0 PDH.
For more information on recertification requirements please contact the National Society of Professional Engineers at www.nspe.org/Licensure/MaintainingaLicense
IT Professionals
Credits may apply for Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP). Because the environment in which the certified professional functions is so dynamic, it is vital that ICCP certificate holders remain current in the field. ICCPs can use Continuing Education Units (CEU). 1 CEU = 10 PDCs
For more information on recertification requirements please contact www.iccp.org
Credits may apply for Project Management Institute – PMP Certification. PMI recognizes relevant educational activities or programs offered by organizations. 1 CEU = 1 PDU. For more information on recertification requirements please contact www.pmi.org
Purchasing and Supply Chain Professionals
Individuals who participate in all TechAdvantage Pre Conference and Conference sessions may earn over 20 hours of continuing education that may be applied to Institute of Supply Management (ISM) Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), and/or the Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) recertification requirements. Each 60-minutes earns 1.0 CEH - Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) can be converted into C.P.M. points. 7 CEHs = One C.P.M. point.
